Bulk Billing

Bulk billing is available Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm ONLY for:

• Children 15 and under
• Health Care Card Holders
• Pension Card Holder
• DVA Card Holders

Please note bulk billing is only available with presentation of a valid card as mentioned above, we cannot bulk bill you if your card has expired. There is NO BULK BILLING for any of the procedures listed under the fees page, travel vaccination consultations, physiotherapy or psychology.

Private Fees

Private consults are charged for all other patients. The ‘GAP’ is the amount you end up paying after you have received your Medicare rebate.

• Standard Consult (10-15 min) – $80 ($43 GAP)
• Long Consult (20-30 min) – $130 ($58 GAP)
• Saturday after 1pm and all day Sunday (10-15 min) – $92 ($43 GAP)

Overseas Patients

Private consults are charged for all oversease patients who do not have a Medicare card.

• Standard Consult (10-15 min) – $80
• Long Consult (20-30 min) – $130
• Saturday after 1pm and all day Sunday (10-15 min) – $92

Rebates are available from most private health insurance companies of approximately $37.05 for a standard consult and $71.70 for a long consult. Please bring in claim paperwork from your private insurer at the time of consult to avoid any further costs. A receipt is provided for you to take to your insurer who will process the claim and rebate for you.

Missed Appointments & Medicare “GAP”

Please be mindful that all patients who miss their appointment are charged a missed appointment fee $40 (GST. Inclusive) which is not claimable through Medicare. If you have a valid Medicare card The ‘GAP’ is the amount you end up paying after you have received your Medicare rebate.

Payment On the Day

Payment is required on the day of consult by EFTPOS or credit card only. Please note we do not keep any cash on site so cannot accept cash payments. Rebates are available through Medicare online and will be transferred to your registered bank account with Medicare within 24-48 hours.

If you have not registered your bank account with Medicare please do so by completing the form attached here. Please note Medicare will not be sending benefit cheques from the 1st of July 2016.
