Dr Emma Rattray

Emma grew up locally and went to primary school in Richmond. She graduated from Monash Medical School in 1997 and worked in hospitals in Melbourne and the Northern Territory before becoming a GP. Her hospital experienced included Paediatrics, Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Emergency Medicine.

Emma became a GP in 2005 and has worked in the Inner North since then. She has also worked at Family Planning Victoria, Melbourne Sexual Health and in Community Mental Health. She is happy dealing with uncomfortable subjects including mental health, sexual health, adolescence and the menopause.

In recent years Emma has done further training in Skin Cancer Medicine and Psychological treatments.

She is qualified to insert Implanon and perform minor surgical procedures. Outside work Emma enjoys time with her kids, chooks and Pip the dog.
