Monica is a fellow of RACGP & has long & extensive experience working in Australia and overseas.
Monica is a compassionate and committed GP with a holistic approach to patient care. She graduated in India and completed specialist training there. She gained extensive experience working in rural and metropolitan health facilities & rotating through different departments during internship. She served as a specialist in a public hospital before coming to Australia. She gained further experience working as a junior doctor in Victorian regional and city hospitals in different areas of medicine which include emergency medicine, surgery, general medicine, obstetrics & gynaecology and psychiatry. She completed an Emergency medicine certificate course while working in Regional Victoria. She was selected for the GP training program with RACGP which led to an award of Fellowship in General Practice.
Monica enjoys all aspects of General practice with specific interest in mental health, sexual health, women’s health & chronic diseases. She has completed level 2 Mental health training in providing focussed psychological strategies. She is a MTOP, Yellow Fever vaccine & PrEP provider.
Aside from spending time with family and friends, Monica enjoys creating meals to share with friends, gardening, reading & listening to medical and other world affairs.
