About Me
Dr. Bridget Dickenson (she/her) is originally from Hobart.
She is passionate about all aspects of women’s health, including:
- Contraception
- Pregnancy planning
- Early pregnancy care
- All things around periods: painful, heavy or irregular periods, premenstrual dysphoric disorder
- Perimenopause and menopause
She is qualified to perform:
- IUD insertions and removals including including copper IUDs
- Implanon insertions
- Medical terminations of pregnancy
She has recently completed her Neuroprotective Developmental Care (otherwise known as The Possums Program) accreditation. This is a uniquely holistic, evidence-based approach to infant and parent care. She is now offering long appointments for parents and babies to support them through breastfeeding and sleep difficulties. Dr Bridget values the relationships she builds with patients as she gets to know them on their health journey. She strives to deliver care in a way that makes patients feel relaxed, listened to and unhurried. In her spare time you will find her drinking coffee/wine depending on the time of day, and walking her dog.
