Dr Mustafa Ebrahimjee

Dr Mustafa is a UK-trained General Practitioner with over 17 years of NHS experience, including 13 years working as a GP. Originally from Kenya, he began his medical career working in a charitable health clinic before moving to the UK for his GP training. He moved to Australia in 2019 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP).

He has undertaken further training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG) and Medical Education, and is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of doctors. He currently works as an Academic Mentor at Melbourne Medical School.

Dr Mustafa has broad experience across different healthcare systems and has a particular interest in general adult medicine, men’s health and sexual health. He also has extensive experience in respiratory medicine and was actively involved in COVID-19 testing, screening and vaccination services during the pandemic.

Known for his friendly, approachable and informal consultation style, Dr Mustafa is committed to providing personalised, patient-centred care.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys running, hiking, cycling and exploring Melbourne’s diverse culinary scene.
